EasyPark Closes Entrance Access to Stairwells at Night

EasyPark garage stairwell entries closed at 11:00 p.m., effective January 1st.

After analyzing our Safety First call trends, EasyPark will be moving forward with closing access to the entrances of the garage stairwells at 11:00 p.m. to ensure cleaner and safer parking garage stairwells effective January 1, 2020.

“We have been exploring the idea of closing our stairwells at night for some time and needed to be sure that we were in compliance with fire code.” said Chris Kersbergen, Operations Manager for EasyPark who oversees security within the parking garages.

Parking garages affected are the following: 6th & H, 7th & G and 5th & B. Stairwells will reopen at 6:00 a.m.  Late night access to your vehicle will be via the elevator lobbies for each parking garage.

As a reminder, EasyPark offers free amenities within their facilities, which a staff escort or pick up service is available to take you back to your vehicle. Amenity Services can be scheduled by calling or texting 297-4471.
