Weekend Market is Open to All Vendors

Weekend Market receives the safety approval from the City of Anchorage

Due to the Municipality of Anchorage’s announcement of Phase 3 and approval of Anchorage Markets & Events’ safety plan, the Weekend Market will be allowed to host all vendors at the Chinook parking lot in downtown Anchorage on 3rd Avenue.

“We were pleased to receive the full support from the Municipality of Anchorage to allow vendors back once again at the Weekend Market,” said Mike Fox owner of Anchorage Markets & Events. “The safety of our vendors and market guests is our #1 priority as well providing economic opportunities to local and small businesses.”

The Weekend Market will also have additional safety measures put in place for its vendors and customers. Safety measures that have been put in place are the following: Masks are required, 6 ft. distancing required, encouraging cashless transactions, mobile hand wash stations have been put in place, and all vendors must take a pre-setup health screening.
