Parking Advisory for 3rd Avenue Parking Permit Holders

Lot Closure During 2019 New Year's Eve Event

The Chinook parking lot (corner of 3rd Ave. & E St.) will be closed from Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 12:00 a.m., until Wednesday, January 1, 2020, to accommodate Anchorage Downtown Partnership’s New Year’s Eve event.

If you possess a monthly 3rd Avenue parking lot permit (Chinook, Coho, Sockeye), we will honor your hang tag at either the Coho or Sockeye parking lots (if available) while the Chinook parking lot is closed.

Another parking option for the 3rd Avenue parkers, is to park at the 5th & B Street parking garage from December 31, 2019-January 1, 2020. Permit parkers will need to take a garage ticket to enter and then show their permit to exit by calling 297-4471 or push the call for help button.
