EasyPark Offers Discounted Parking Option to Assist 4th Avenue Business During Construction Project

3rd Avenue parking lots, Coho and Sockeye, hourly price reduced to 50 cents per hour

Anchorage, AK – July 26, 2021

EasyPark is providing discounted parking at their 3rd Avenue parking lots at Coho and Sockeye due to the construction impact on 4th Avenue from A Street to E Street this summer. Both parking lots will be running at .50 cents per hour until the construction project is complete.

“We have street parking spaces that support downtown businesses on 4th Avenue and we knew it would be important to offer a parking option that was affordable and close by to mitigate the economic impact,” said Mike Robbins, Executive Director for ACDA. 

A parking map of the 4th Avenue Construction has been put together by Kinney Engineering, LLC as well as noting the businesses impacted on 4th Avenue.

The 4th Avenue project will include replacement of deteriorating and substandard lighting.
