New Rooftop Park at 7th & G Street Parking Garage

Rooftop Park at 7th offers free amenities to EasyPark garage parkers & the public

The “Rooftop at 7th Avenue” & G Street parking garage grand opening is June 20, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. via the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce. The Rooftop at 7th was created as an additional amenity to our downtown monthly parkers and provide a green space retreat from the urban environment.

“The new rooftop park now offers an additional amenity to our parkers who can take advantage of taking a lunchbreak or conduct a meeting in an outdoor setting surrounded by trees and plants or even playing a game of basketball,” said Demetric Tuggle, Parking Director for EasyPark

The Rooftop features half-court basketball, ping pong table, chess table/benches, picnic tables, additional seating, and added foliage that transforms the urban concrete space to a park setting.

The Rooftop is available for use Monday-Sunday 6am-10pm. Additional video equipment has been installed and The Rooftop which will be monitored by our EasyPark Dispatch team to provide a safe and secure environment. As a reminder, be sure to bring your own equipment (i.e. basketball, chess pieces, or ping pong paddles/balls).
