Did You Know? Loading Zones are for Public & Business Use

April 05, 2018

Downtown Anchorage has 6 Loading Zones

With the goal of reducing the number of parking violations, EasyPark has developed the "Did You Know?" educational campaign. The topics for this educational series stem from research into the most common causes for parking citations. During the month of April, EasyPark’s “Did You Know” will cover loading zones in downtown Anchorage.

Loading zones in downtown Anchorage are designated spaces adjacent to a curb used for various purposes including, but not limited to: freight, hotel, curb, passenger, tour bus, or taxi. All zones have been set up to assist both the businesses and individual parkers in downtown Anchorage, thru the municipal traffic engineer.

6 Loading Zones Explained

Freight: Designed for business use only to load/unload freight. Specific signage requirements are required and parking is not to exceed more than 30 minutes (unless otherwise posted).
