Kirklin Washington Earns Certification as a Parking Professional

Kirklin Washington, Customer Service Lead at EasyPark, has recently been certified as a Parking Professional by The National Parking Association. In earning this credential, he adds the initials “CPP” after his name.

Mr. Washington joined ACDA during 2009. Mr. Washington is the lead Customer Service and Administration departments for EasyPark and has received extensive training in supervising, safety, and workplace diversity.

Eligible parking professionals participate in a comprehensive exam covering 13 key aspects of parking operations, from safety and security to customer service operations to disaster planning, to finance and valet parking operations. Parking professionals who pass the CPP exam are entitled to display the CPP credential. Certification is maintained through continuing education and a periodic recertification process.

The National Parking Association is the nation's leading parking trade group advancing the interests of the private and public sector in parking technology, sustainable mobility, certification, advocacy, research and education. Founded in 1951, NPA has more than 2,500 members and represents all facets of the parking industry.


EasyPark is the brand name of the parking services operated by Anchorage Community Development Authority (ACDA). ACDA is a public corporate authority for the Municipality of Anchorage. ACDA's parking division, EasyPark, manages more than 6,000 parking spaces in downtown Anchorage.
